To configure the KATA protection settings:
A request to authorize KSMG in the KATA web interface is sent only when the Send messages without threats to KATA toggle switch is enabled. After successful authorization, the status of nodes on the Status tab changes to Connected.
In Kaspersky Secure Mail Gateway 2.1, messages without threats include messages that triggered content filtering only. The current values of parameters of sending messages to KATA might result in a larger number of messages sent to KATA scan compared to the previous version of Kaspersky Secure Mail Gateway. Thus, the number of messages not scanned by KATA due to KATA server timeout might increase as well.
This option is available only if the Send messages without threats to KATA toggle switch is turned on.
Messages that meet KATA's own criteria are sent to KATA for scanning.
When the specified timeout is exceeded, the application interrupts the message scan, assigns to it the Skipped status for the KATA module, and takes the appropriate action on the message without regard for the scan by the KATA server.
Possible values: 60 - 86400 (24 hours). Default value: 600
When the maximum disk space is exceeded, the application interrupts the message scan, assigns to it the Skipped status for the KATA module, and takes the appropriate action on the message without regard for the scan by the KATA server.
The minimum value is 1 MB. The default value is 1024 MB (1 GB).
When the maximum number is exceeded, the application interrupts the message scan, assigns to it the Skipped status for the KATA module, and takes the appropriate action on the message without regard for the scan by the KATA server.
Possible values: 1 - 4294967296. Default value: 5000
Only messages under 200 MB in size are placed in the KATA Quarantine. If the message is larger than 200 MB, the message is not scanned, and the Skipped status is assigned to it for the KATA module.
The KATA protection settings are now configured.
