About the subscription
A subscription to Kaspersky Small Office Security establishes use of the application within the selected settings (expiration date and number of protected devices). You can obtain a subscription for Kaspersky Small Office Security from a service provider (for example, from your Internet provider or from a Kaspersky partner that is capable of providing the application by subscription). You can pause or resume your subscription, renew it automatically, or cancel it. You can manage your subscription via your personal account page on the service provider's website or by using a different tool provided by a Kaspersky partner.
Vendors can provide two types of subscriptions for Kaspersky Small Office Security: update subscriptions and update and protection subscriptions. If the subscription is not renewed before the grace period expires, Kaspersky Small Office Security stops updating the application databases (in the case of update subscriptions), stops interacting with Kaspersky Security Network, and also stops protecting the computer and running scan tasks (in the case of update and protection subscriptions).
A subscription can be limited (for example, to one year) or unlimited (with no expiration date). When a limited subscription expires, you are given a grace period to renew your subscription. Application functionality remains unchanged during this time. To continue using Kaspersky Small Office Security after a limited subscription expires, you can renew it in one of the following ways:
- Renew it yourself on the Kaspersky website or on the website of our partner.
- Have it automatically renewed (if timely prepayment has been made to the service provider).
To use Kaspersky Small Office Security by subscription, you need to apply the activation code received from the service provider or Kaspersky partner. When using the application by subscription, you cannot apply another activation code to renew your license. You can apply another activation code only when the subscription term expires.
If you want to use Kaspersky Small Office Security by subscription (and the application is already in use under an active license), you can enter the activation code that was previously used to activate the application on a different computer.
To cancel your subscription, contact the service provider from whom you have purchased Kaspersky Small Office Security.
Depending on the subscription provider, the set of subscription management options may vary. In addition, you may not be provided with a grace period during which you can renew the subscription.
