About device protection from your account
You can manage security of connected devices remotely from your account by sending commands to Kaspersky applications on the devices. For example, you can:
- scan devices for malware;
- update application databases;
- turn on or turn off the protection components.
Remotely managing a device is available when the device is online and the connected Kaspersky application is running. When commands are sent to offline devices, information about commands is stored for 7 days. If the device does not connect to the Internet during this time, the commands are canceled. During a device scan, objects are processed automatically according to the automatic processing rules specified in the application locally on the device.
