Starting and stopping a scan

To start a computer scan:

1. In the main application window, click the Computer Scan button.

   The Scan window opens.

2. Click the Run button.

The application starts scanning the computer. During the scan an indicator displays the scan progress. The intermediary results of the scan are also displayed.

To stop a computer scan:

click the Stop button in the Scan window below the scan progress indicator.

If you want to pause the scan, click the Pause button in the Scan window below the scan progress indicator. You can resume the scan from the same place by clicking the Resume scan button in the Scan window below the scan progress indicator, unless you close the application window. If you close the application window, the scan will have to be performed again.
