Compatibility

Kaspersky Software Updater is compatible with the following Kaspersky Lab applications:

• Kaspersky Password Manager
• Kaspersky Safe Kids
• Kaspersky Security Scan 3.0, 4.0
• Kaspersky Free (2016, 2017 and higher)
• Kaspersky Anti-Virus (2016, 2017 and higher)
• Kaspersky Internet Security (2015, 2016)
• Kaspersky Total Security (2015, 2016)
• Kaspersky Small Office Security 4.0

Kaspersky Software Updater cannot be installed on a computer with other Kaspersky Lab applications already installed, except for the compatible ones.

You can install other Kaspersky Lab applications on a computer with Kaspersky Software Updater installed. In this case, Kaspersky Software Updater switches to a limited functionality mode: the search for updates and database updates are disabled. If you want Kaspersky Software Updater to have full functionality, remove other Kaspersky Lab applications.

Kaspersky Software Updater switches to a limited functionality mode when installed together with the following Kaspersky Lab applications:

• Kaspersky Internet Security (2017 and higher)
• Kaspersky Total Security (2017 and higher)
• Kaspersky Small Office Security 5.0 and higher

The following third-party anti-virus software is compatible with Kaspersky Software Updater:

• Avira Internet Security
• Avast! Internet Security
• Bitdefender Internet Security
• McAfee® LifeSafe
• Norton™ Security Deluxe
