Selecting the update search mode

To select the update search mode:

1. Click the button in the lower left corner of the main application window.

   The Settings window opens.

2. In the Update search mode section, select one of the following update search modes:
   • If you want to run a full search, select the Full search option.

     In full search mode, Kaspersky Software Updater searches for all updates of applications installed on your computer, including those that make changes to applications and / or improve their functionality.

   • If you want to run a quick search, select the Quick search option.

     In quick search mode, Kaspersky Software Updater only searches for important updates that eliminate vulnerabilities in applications installed on your computer, which improves the security of your PC.

3. To save changes, click the Save button.
