Application Startup Control now has a "black list" mode that allows all users to start all applications except those that are specified in the Application Startup Control rules.
There is now the capability to use the Kaspersky Security for Virtualization 5.1 Light Agent license key for Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business Universal. This key lets you protect a certain number of virtual machines regardless of the operating system installed on them. The key is available not in all regions. There is now support for security tags. Kaspersky Security can assign security tags to a protected virtual machine within an infrastructure managed by a VMware vCenter Server and VMware NSX Manager. Kaspersky Security for Virtualization 5.1 Light Agent can use VMware NSX-V Manager in its operation without updates or with update 5.1.1. Kaspersky Security for Virtualization 5.1 Light Agent with updates 5.1.2 and 5.1.3 can use VMware NSX-V Manager or VMware NSX-T Manager in its operation.
There is now the capability to scan secure connections that are established using the SSL 3.0, TLS 1.0, TLS 1.1, TLS 1.2, or TLS 1.3 protocols (without Encrypted Server Name Indication technology).
There is now the capability to deploy and configure SVMs without having to use the SVM Management Wizard that is started from the Integration Server Console. You can perform initial configuration of new SVMs and change the configuration settings of previously deployed SVMs using the klconfig script API.
Kaspersky Security is now compatible with Kaspersky Anti Targeted Attack Platform 3.6. The Light Agent for Windows component can now protect virtual machines on which Endpoint Sensor from Kaspersky Anti Targeted Attack Platform 3.6 is installed.
You can now verify the certificate or key fingerprint of a hypervisor or virtual infrastructure administration server before connecting the Integration Server and SVM Management Wizard to the virtual infrastructure.
The algorithm for selecting the SVMs used by Light Agents was refined to optimize operation of the application in large infrastructures.
In update 5.1.2 of Kaspersky Security application there is now the capability to automate application usage scenarios in multitenancy mode is implemented (only for Kaspersky Security 5.1.2 and 5.1.3).
In update 5.1.3 of Kaspersky Security application there is now the capability to use Kaspersky Security Center Web Console for managing Kaspersky Security for Virtualization 5.1 Light Agent (including updates 5.1.1, 5.1.2 and 5.1.3).
