Virtual machines and user data will no longer be protected if Kaspersky Security is uninstalled.
The procedure to uninstall Kaspersky Security from the virtual infrastructure consists of the following stages:
To uninstall the Protection Server component, remove SVMs from hypervisors. You can remove SVMs on all or several hypervisors in the virtual infrastructure.
If you uninstall SVMs on some hypervisors, after completing the SVM uninstallation procedure on the hypervisor, it is recommended that you delete the connection settings to this hypervisor, or to the virtual infrastructure administration server under which the hypervisor is running, from the following lists:
You can remove Light Agent from all or several virtual machines.
After the Protection Server and Light Agent components are removed, the virtual machines on which these components were installed are still displayed in the Kaspersky Security Center Administration Console. After the expiration of the period specified in the Kaspersky Security Center settings (see the Kaspersky Security Center documentation), information about the virtual machines is automatically deleted. You can manually remove information about the virtual machines from Kaspersky Security Center Administration Console after uninstalling the application.
