Configuring privileges for the user performing installation of Kaspersky Anti-Virus

The user installing Kaspersky Anti-Virus must have the privileges to perform the following operations in the ACL of the Lotus Domino server's installation database:

Before starting the installation process, make sure that your account has these permissions.

By default, the ACL of the installation database includes the Default record with the No access level and the LocalDomainAdmins group with access at the Manager level and rights to create, delete, replicate and copy documents. If the LocalDomainAdmins group is not on the installation server, or the user installing Kaspersky Anti-Virus is not included in this group, the installation server's ACL should be edited before starting the installation.

The Anonymous user must not be included in the ACL and granted the installation database privileges needed to install the application. The Anonymous account user does not have permissions to collect the necessary configuration information. As a result, installation of the application will end in an error. It is important for installation to be performed by an administrator with the necessary privileges.

To configure privileges for the user performing installation of Kaspersky Anti-Virus,

include the account of the user performing installation in the installation database's ACL either directly or as part of a group, and grant the user access at the Manager level and rights to create, delete, replicate, and copy documents.
