Creating an installation package in Kaspersky Security Center

Kaspersky Security Center allows you to create stand-alone installation packages for security applications. Then, by using SolarWinds RMM, you run the created files locally on the client devices to install Kaspersky applications, without involving Kaspersky Security Center.

To create a stand-alone installation package from Kaspersky Security Center:

  1. Connect to Kaspersky Security Center Administration Server.

For more information about connecting to Kaspersky Security Center, refer to Online Help.

  2. In the Kaspersky Security Center console tree, select AdvancedRemote installationInstallation packages.
  3. In the workspace, select the installation package of the required application: Kaspersky Endpoint Security or Kaspersky Security Center Network Agent.
  4. Start the process of creating a stand-alone installation package by using one of the following methods:
    • In the context menu of the installation package, select Create stand-alone installation package.
    • In the workspace of the installation package, click the Create stand-alone installation package link.

This will start the Stand-alone Installation Package Creation Wizard. Follow the Wizard instructions.

  5. At the final step of the Wizard, select the Open folder option to view the created stand-alone installation package in the folder.
  6. If necessary, move the package to a shared folder that is accessible from all of the devices to which you want to deploy Kaspersky security applications.

The installation package is created. You can now proceed to the Deploying a Kaspersky security application procedure.
