Install the app

The Google Play™ service lets you install Kaspersky QR Scanner either from the Google Play app on the device or from the Google Play via the computer.

The following conditions must be satisfied to install the app using Google Play Store:

To install Kaspersky QR Scanner from the Google Play Store on your device:

  1. Start the Google Play Store app on your device.
  2. About Kaspersky QR Scanner. To do so, enter the app name in the Google Play Store search field and tap ENTER.
  3. Select Kaspersky QR Scanner in the search results.

  4. Tap Install on the page with app details.
  5. View the list of rights that Kaspersky QR Scanner needs.
    • If you agree to grant these rights to the app, tap Install.

      This will start the download and installation of Kaspersky QR Scanner.

    • If you refuse to grant these rights to Kaspersky QR Scanner, tap Back.

      This cancels the installation of the app.

To install Kaspersky QR Scanner from Google Play using a computer, do the following:

  1. Open https://play.google.com on the computer.
  2. About Kaspersky QR Scanner. To do so, enter the app name in the Google Play Store search field and tap ENTER.
  3. Select Kaspersky QR Scanner in the search results.

  4. Tap Install on the page with app details.

    If you are not signed in to your Google Play account, a window opens prompting you to sign in to the service using your Google account.

  5. In the Send to a different device drop-down menu in the request form, select the device on which you want the app installed.

    The list contains the devices that are linked to your Google account.

  6. In the request form window, review the list of rights required by the app.
    • If you agree to grant these rights to the app, tap Install.

      If your device is connected to a Wi-Fi or 3G/4G network, the app will begin to be downloaded immediately. If your device is not connected to the Internet, then the app will begin to be downloaded the next time you connect to the Internet.

    • If you do not want to grant these rights to the app, tap Cancel.

      This cancels the installation of the app.

If a device running the Android operating system has modified firmware, there is an increased risk that the device will be hacked and your data will be stolen or corrupted.
