Cause

Cause of the problem can be manually added web sites to the list pop-up blocker exceptions caused by malware, pornware, adware.

Description

Malware, pornware or adware can add sites to the list of pop-up blocker exceptions for Microsoft Internet Explorer. Thus, if you visit such sites, you will have to manually close all the pop-up windows.

After fix

After the fix is performed, the list of pop-up blocker exceptions will be cleared, and all visited sites will be scanned for pop-up windows. If such windows will be detected, they will be blocked. If you trust the web sites added to the list of pop-up blocker exceptions, then do not perform the fix.

Rollback

You can roll back to the previous settings.
