Kaspersky Lab product crashes during installation of SP 1 for Windows 7

During installation of SP1 for Windows 7, in some cases Kaspersky Lab products may crash. The problem appears in cases when the installed Kaspersky Lab product has not been closed before installation of SP1 for Windows 7.

To eliminate the problem, exit from the installed Kaspersky Lab application before installing SP1 for Windows 7:

  1. In the lower-right corner of the screen, right-click the Kaspersky Lab icon.
  2. Select Exit in the context menu.

Once SP1 for Windows 7 is installed, run your Kaspersky Lab application by clicking Start - (All) Programs - Kaspersky Lab application name - Kaspersky Lab application name.

If the issue persists, create a request to Technical Support through My Kaspersky. In your request, give a detailed description of the problem.
