When trying to start the task of Real-time file protection an error occurs. The error occurs even after the computer restart.
This error occurs if before installation of Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Servers Enterprise Edition another Kaspersky Lab’s application version 6.0 was installed on the same server and the required server restart was not performed as required.
To resolve the problem use one of the following methods:
If the required restart has not been performed yet since uninstallation of another anti-virus application, in this case restart the server before following any method given below:
1. On the server in the setup folder (the default folder is C:\Program Files\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 For Windows Servers Enterprise Edition) open the Drivers subfolder.
2. In this subfolder find the file klif.inf and in its context menu run the command Install.
1. On the server computer go to Start > All Programs > Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Servers Enterprise Edition > Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 Uninstall.
2. In the Modify, Repair or Remove application window of the setup wizard choose Repair installed components. Follow recommendations in the Setup Wizard.
Reinstall Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Servers Enterprise Edition, perform the required OS reboot.
