If you no longer plan to use a private key for signing applications, you can archive the corresponding public key on the Kaspersky Appicenter for Developers portal. For example, you may need to archive a public key for security reasons if the key is out of date. If the public key has been archived, you cannot use it to verify an application's signature or to activate the application again.
Archiving the public key does not affect published versions of applications that are signed with the corresponding private key. However, after you archive the public key, you cannot publish new applications signed with the corresponding private key.
To archive a public key:
Your email client will open a window with a new message addressed to a Kaspersky Appicenter for Developers Technical Support specialist.
You can view the key name and ID on the Keys page in the web interface of Kaspersky Appicenter for Developers.
You can archive only a public key with the Active status.
Your archive request will be sent to Kaspersky Appicenter for Developers Technical Support. If information about the key needs clarification, you will be sent an email.
You will receive an email notification when the public key has been archived. In the Keys section, the key status will change to Archived.
