Connect a mobile device

Corporate App Catalog users must have the Connect new devices right to connect their device to Kaspersky Security Center via Corporate App Catalog.

When connecting Android mobile device, the Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Android app is installed on the device. When connecting an iOS mobile device, the iOS MDM profile is installed on the device.

After the device is connected to Kaspersky Security Center via Corporate App Catalog, corporate policies are applied to each device. When done, the device becomes managed.

To connect a mobile device to Corporate App Catalog:

  1. In your device browser, sign in to Corporate App Catalog.
  2. Open the Your devices section.
  3. Click the plus sign or the Connect new device link.

    Corporate App Catalog starts creating the installation package for your device. Usually, Corporate App Catalog automatically detects the operating system of your mobile device. If not, specify the operating system of your device when prompted.

    When finished, a QR code containing the link for downloading the installation package and a link to download are displayed in Corporate App Catalog. The QR code and the link are valid for 24 hours.

  4. Download the installation package to your device by doing one of the following:
    • Scan the QR code with your mobile device.
    • Tap the Download and install package button.
  5. Start the installation of the downloaded package on your mobile device:
    • On Android device, you need to install the Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Android app.
    • On iOS device, you need to install the iOS MDM profile in the device settings.
  6. Enter the mobile certificate password if prompted.

    You can view the password by clicking Show password in the device section of Corporate App Catalog.

  7. Follow the instructions of your device and finish the installation.

The device will be displayed in the list of managed devices in Kaspersky Security Center and in Corporate App Catalog.
