CPU requirements

Kaspersky CyberTrace supports only x86-64 architecture.

CPU supports BMI2 (bit manipulation instruction set 2).

It is recommended to use Kaspersky CyberTrace on high-end servers.

Among parameters of a CPU, two are important:

For example, a CPU can have two cores and four threads.

When selecting the CPU, please pay attention to the number of threads, because this parameter has more influence on the performance. Later in the sizing guide, we assume that each CPU core has two threads.

For more information about CPU cores and threads, please search for "Simultaneous multithreading" by using your search engine.

Depending on the number of cores of your CPU, you can select the required number of scanners and threads per scanner for the Kaspersky CyberTrace Service process.
