Updating the extension

The version of the KasperskyOS SDK Extension must match the version of KasperskyOS Community Edition that you are using.

To update the extension after installing a new version of KasperskyOS Community Edition:

  1. Make sure that the Auto Update check box is selected in the extension settings (this check box is selected by default).
  2. Click the button containing the name of the current SDK in the lower panel or run the command KOS: Change SDK for the current project in the command palette.
  3. Select a new path to KasperskyOS Community Edition from the list of SDKs detected on your computer.

The extension will be automatically reinstalled using the VSIX installation file from the new SDK.

Using multiple SDKs

You can use the command KOS: Change SDK for the current project to switch to another KasperskyOS SDK when using multiple SDKs.
