A web plug-in is an interface between Kaspersky Security Center Web Console and Kaspersky Endpoint Security. With a web plug-in, you can configure tasks and policies for the application through Kaspersky Security Center Web Console.
The web plug-in is not installed in Kaspersky Security Center Web Console by default. Unlike the Kaspersky Endpoint Security management plug-in for Kaspersky Security Center, which is installed on the administrator's computer, the web plug-in is installed on a computer where Web Console Server is installed. Herewith, Kaspersky Endpoint Security web plug-in functionality is available for all administrators who have access to Kaspersky Security Center Web Console in the browser.
You can view a list of installed web plug-ins and, if necessary, update them in Kaspersky Security Center Web Console interface (Operations → Plug-ins). For more details about web plug-in, refer to the Kaspersky Security Center documentation.
