Frequency of sending synchronization requests to the NDR server in minutes.

The default value is 5.

Maximum time to wait for the server connection (sec)

Maximum time to wait for a connection to the NDR server in seconds.

The default value is 10.

Maximum time to wait for a response from the server (sec)

Maximum time to wait for a response from the NDR server in seconds.

The default value is 10.

Server certificate

The section contains buttons for adding or removing a server certificate:

• Add opens the window in which you can add a server certificate. The button is displayed if the server certificate has not been added yet.

  In the window for adding a certificate, you can add a KATA server certificate in one of the following ways:

  • In the Add from file field, specify the path to the certificate file containing the certificate in DER or PEM format. The Browse button opens the standard file selection window.
  • Copy the contents of the certificate file into the Enter certificate details field.

  If a server certificate has been added, the server certificate is verified on the Kaspersky Endpoint Security side. This elevates the security of the connection.

• Delete deletes the server certificate added previously. The button is displayed only if a server certificate has been added.

Additional connection protection

This section contains controls for configuring additional security of the connection using two-way authentication:

• Use two-way authentication enables or disables two-way authentication to further secure the connection to the NDR server. To use two-way authentication, you need to add a client certificate.

  Two-way authentication must be enabled on the NDR server side.

• Add opens the window for adding a client certificate for additional security of the connection with the NDR server. The button is displayed if the Use two-way authentication check box is selected and the client certificate has not yet been added.

  To add a client certificate, in the window for adding a certificate, specify the path to the cryptocontainer (PFX archive) containing the client certificate and private key. The Browse button opens the standard file selection window. If the archive is password-protected, enter the password in the Crypto container password field.

• Delete deletes the previously added client certificate. This button is displayed only if a client certificate has been added.
