UUID class

The UUID class implements the interface to the UID of the Boost:Uuid library. Each unique ID has the following properties:

• Size of the unique ID in bytes
• Function that returns true if the unique ID consists solely of zeros.
• One of the following ID options:
  • NCS—reserved for backward compatibility with the Apollo Network Computing System 1.5 UUID format.
  • RFC_4122—described in RFC 4122.
  • MICROSOFT—reserved for backward compatibility with early Microsoft Windows GUIDs.
  • FUTURE—reserved for future use.
