Automatically save data
When you visit websites and enter logins, passwords, bank card details, or addresses in online forms, Kaspersky Password Manager prompts you to add them to the vault.
Sign in to websites
When you visit a website, Kaspersky Password Manager searches the vault for accounts that you have saved for that website. Depending on the search results, the application does one of the following:
- If the vault contains one account for the website, Kaspersky Password Manager fills out the login and password fields.
- If the vault contains several accounts for the website, Kaspersky Password Manager prompts you to choose the account that you want to sign in with.
If you have enabled automatic login and chosen a default account for the website, Kaspersky Password Manager will sign you in automatically.
Kaspersky Password Manager disables automatic login on websites containing two or more sign-in forms.
Open a website from the main application window
- Open the main application window.
- In the menu panel, click Accounts and then select Website / Email from the drop-down list.
The Websites / Email accounts section opens.
- Select a website to go to and click the "open in a browser" button
.
The website opens in your default browser. If you have enabled automatic login and chosen a default account for this website, Kaspersky Password Manager will sign you in automatically. If you have disabled automatic login, Kaspersky Password Manager will automatically fill out the login and password fields with the default credentials for the website.
Open a website from the extension menu
- Open a browser with the Kaspersky Password Manager extension installed.
- In the browser toolbar, click the application icon
.
The Kaspersky Password Manager extension menu opens.
- Select Websites → <website name>.
The website opens. If you have enabled automatic login and chosen a default account for this website, Kaspersky Password Manager will sign you in automatically. If you have disabled automatic login, Kaspersky Password Manager will automatically fill out the login and password fields with the default credentials for the website.
Automatically fill out addresses and bank card details
When you shop online, Kaspersky Password Manager searches the vault for bank cards and addresses to fill the shipping and payment fields. If the vault contains appropriate entries, Kaspersky Password Manager prompts you to choose the address or bank card that you want to use for the online form. If Kaspersky Password Manager finds data that can be entered into a field of an online form, the application displays the key icon next to the field.
You can disable autosave and autofill if you don't want Kaspersky Password Manager to fill out online forms for you.
