Working in VNC mode

When you use the VNC mode and send a sample for analysis, VNC mode control buttons become available in the Details column in the History table. The following buttons are displayed only during the sample detonation:

• —Opens a VNC modal window.
• —Starts a sample without opening a VNC modal window. This button is not available if the Launch automatically option was enabled during task creation.
• —Stops sample detonation.

When you click the Open VNC button, the VNC modal window opens. In the modal window you can perform various actions, for example the following:

• Interact with the sample
• Monitor the detonation process
• Investigate and configure the execution environment (during the sample detonation)
• Open multi-file archives and web addresses

This window contains the following elements:

• —Starts a sample detonation. This button is not available if the Launch automatically option was enabled during task creation.
• —Stops a task execution and virtual machine.
• —Expands the frame to the full screen mode.
• —Lets you drag the selected area on the screen.
• —Displays the time remaining until the detonation process completes and the VNC session is closed.

The file sent for analysis is located in the Downloads folder.
