Limiting task run time

To limit the time during which a task is run on devices:

In the task properties window, select the Schedule section.
Open the window intended for configuration of actions on client devices, by clicking Advanced.
In the Advanced window that opens, select the Stop the task if it runs longer than (min) check box and specify the time interval in minutes.

If the task is not yet complete on the device when the specified time interval expires, Kaspersky Security Center stops the task automatically.
