In this release, we added some features to the plug-in of MMC-based Administration Console for managing Android devices via Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Android app:
New features for App Control:
You can configure a report on the apps installed on users' devices. This report is available in the list of reports in Kaspersky Security Center. The following options are available:
Send data on installed apps.
Send data on system apps.
Send data on service apps.
New rules for Compliance Control:
You can check if the device is within or outside the specified geofence areas and view a geofence area on the map in the Yandex.Maps program.
You can check if the Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Android app has access to precise or background location of a device.
You can set the continuous actions to be performed on the device if the specified non-compliance criterion is detected. These actions are as follows:
Prohibit safe boot.
Prohibit use of camera.
Prohibit use of Bluetooth.
Prohibit use of Wi-Fi.
Prohibit USB debugging features.
Prohibit airplane mode.
New features for Web Protection:
Web Protection and Web Control are now available in device owner mode without requesting the Accessibility rights.
New commands for Android devices:
Send message (this command sends message to the user's mobile device).
Get device location history (this command displays the user's mobile device location history for the last 14 days).
Other improvements:
You can configure permission granting rules for apps installed on devices operating in device owner mode or for apps installed in an Android work profile.
