Creating an administration group

In the Web Console, you can create administration groups and add thin clients running Kaspersky Thin Client and connected to Kaspersky Security Center to these groups to configure device settings using policies in a centralized manner.

To create an administration group:

  1. In the main Web Console window, go to Assets (Devices)Hierarchy of groups.
  2. Select the check box next to the administration group that the new group should be a part of.

    If you haven't created any administration groups yet, select the Managed devices group.

  3. Click the Add button.
  4. In the panel that opens, type in a new administration group name and click Add.

    The name of an administration group must be unique within its hierarchy.

The new group will appear in the list of administration groups.
