Configuring receipt of Dallas Lock Unified Control Center events

KUMA allows monitoring events of the Dallas Lock Unified Control Center 4.0 (hereinafter referred to as UCC) received in the CEF format.

Configuring event receiving consists of the following steps:

  1. Configuring the export of Dallas Lock UCC events
  2. Creating a KUMA collector for Dallas Lock UCC events

When configuring the receipt of Dallas Lock UCC audit events using the Collector Installation Wizard, at the Event parsing step, select the [OOTB] Confident Dallas Lock syslog CEF normalizer. Also, on the Transport tab, you must specify the port and protocol in accordance with steps 2.c, 2.d of the Configuring the export of Dallas Lock UCC events instructions.

  3. Installing a collector in a KUMA network infrastructure
  4. Verifying receipt of Dallas Lock UCC events in the KUMA collector

You can verify that the Dallas Lock UCC event source server is configured correctly by searching for related events in the KUMA web interface, in the Resources and services → Active services section.
