XIAOMI devices

On XIAOMI devices, initial setup is needed in order to ensure that Kaspersky app is working properly.

Some steps may be different, depending on the device model and version of the operating system.

For example, on Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 with Android 6.0.1, go to Settings > Battery and Performance > Manage apps battery usage > Choose apps (available if the power saving mode is on) > Kaspersky app > No restrictions.

To configure battery usage, the Kaspersky app may redirect you to the Security app, that is pre-installed on some XIAOMI devices. In some cases, your settings for battery usage for the Kaspersky app may not be saved. To fix this, open the Security app on your XIAOMI device and make sure that you've accepted all policies, including ones regarding data processing, and granted the app the requested permissions. After this, try configuring and saving the settings for battery usage again.
