What's new in the latest version of the application
The latest version of the application introduces the following new features and improvements:
Implemented the option to enlarge Windows fonts in the application for visually impaired users. The font size of the application now automatically adapts to the font size of the operating system.
We’ve clarified the wording for user's consent in the My Kaspersky account creation flow.
Added the option to manually turn on the Do not Disturb and Game Mode options from both the Performance section and from the context menu of the application icon in the notification area.
Added the option to view information about technologies used in the application in the Security section.
We’ve changed the name of the Smart Home section to Home Wi-Fi for a better user understanding of the section's content.
Confirmation of changing the application settings will only be requested if the protection level is decreased.
Privacy Cleaner. You can now set up a schedule to automatically clean activity traces on your device.
The wording in pop-up windows of the application complies with the requirements of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
Improved text of the message motivating the user to create a My Kaspersky account.
App Updater improvements:
Enhanced the user interface of the App Updater settings page.
The App Updater card in the Performance settings now correctly displays the status message when automatic search for updates for applications installed on your computer is disabled.
App Updater now requests administrator credentials when attempting to run the update process without administrator rights.
Added support for Microsoft Windows 11 24H2.
Starting from version 21.18, the Anti-Spam feature is removed from the application. To ensure the safety of your PC, you can use other security features of the application, e.g. File Anti-Virus, Mail Anti-Virus, etc.
