Description

Enable Self-Defense

When this check box is selected, Kaspersky application prevents alteration or deletion of application filesĀ on the hard drive, memory processes, and entries in the system registry.

Allow managing Kaspersky settings via remote control applications

If this check box is selected, trusted remote administration applications (such as TeamViewer, LogMeIn Pro and Remotely Anywhere) can change settings of Kaspersky application.

Untrusted remote control applications will not be allowed to change settings of Kaspersky application, even when the check box is selected.

Block external management of application services

If the check box is selected, Kaspersky application prevents third-party applications (e. g., CMD) from management of application services. When an attempt is made to manage application services remotely, a notification is displayed in the Microsoft Windows taskbar, above the application icon (unless the notification service has been disabled by the user).

External management of application services can only be enabled on computers that do not support AM-PPL technology or this technology is disabled.

AM-PPL technology is available for Windows 10 version 1703 (RS2) or later, and Windows Server 2019 operating systems.
