Deleting a security rule

If you delete a security rule that has an ongoing session, traffic continues to obey this rule until the session ends.

You cannot delete the default rule.

To delete a rule:

  1. In the main menu of the Open Single Management Platform Console, go to the Application & Services → NGFW section.

    This opens the Policy tab.

  2. In the Firewall section, select Security rules.
  3. Select the check box next to one or more rules that you want to delete.
  4. In the upper part of the workspace, click the Delete button.
  5. Confirm the deletion.

The selected rules are deleted and removed from the list.
