An SNMP profile defines a set of parameters for connecting devices to an SNMP manager. In each SNMP profile, you can specify the address of one server to which you want SNMP traps to be sent. You can also restrict the list of OIDs for which traps to be sent.
You can view the table of SNMP profiles in a device template or on a Kaspersky NGFW device:
To view the table of SNMP profiles in a device template, select the Network templates tab in the menu, click a device template, and select the SNMP section.
To view the table of SNMP profiles on a Kaspersky NGFW device, go to the Devices menu section, click a Kaspersky NGFW device, and select the SNMP section.
The table of SNMP profiles is displayed on Profiles tab.
The table contains the following information about SNMP profiles:
Name is the unique name of the profile.
Status is the status of the SNMP profile (enabled or disabled).
View is the OID view selected for the profile that defines the objects available to the profile in polling mode.
Version is the selected SNMP version. Possible values are v1, v2c, and v3.
Community name is a unique community name. Can be set for v1 and v2c protocol versions.
User name is a unique user name. Can be set for protocol version v3.
Trap server is the address of the server to which the device sends SNMP traps.
