To make sure SNMP agents can respond to requests and send traps, you need to manage the SNMP monitoring settings for each Kaspersky NGFW device.
To configure SNMP monitoring:
In the main menu of the Open Single Management Platform Console, go to the Application & Services → NGFW section.
Configure SNMP monitoring in one of the following ways:
If you want to configure SNMP monitoring in a device template, in the menu, select the Network templates tab, click the device template, and select the System → SNMP section.
If you want to configure SNMP monitoring on a Kaspersky NGFW device, select the Devices tab in the menu, click a Kaspersky NGFW device, and select the System → SNMP section.
This opens the SNMP settings page.
Enable the Override toggle switch (displayed only when viewing the SNMP section on the device) to disable inheritance of settings from the device template.
Enable the Use SNMP toggle switch to have the SNMP agent send SNMP traps and responses to SNMP manager requests.
Specify the port number that the SNMP agent will listen on and from which it will send data to users.
If necessary, in the VRF drop-down list, select a custom virtual routing and forwarding table to be used for monitoring SNMP and in SNMP profiles.
By default, the Management virtual routing and forwarding table is used. After changing the virtual routing and forwarding table, SNMP agents are restarted, and after powering on, they begin using the selected table.
You cannot delete a virtual routing and forwarding table that is used for SNMP monitoring.
SNMP monitoring is enabled on the selected Kaspersky NGFW device or in the network template.
