Editing a security zone

To edit the settings of a security zone:

  1. In the main menu of the Open Single Management Platform Console, go to the Application & Services → NGFW section.
  2. Select the Security zones tab.

    This opens the table of security zones.

  3. Do one of the following:
    • Click the name of the security zone.
    • Select the check box next to the security zone that you want to edit. In the upper part of the workspace, click the Edit button.

    This opens the security zone editing window.

  4. Make the necessary changes. You can edit the name and description of the security zone. For a default security zone, you can only edit the description. You cannot change the type of a previously created zone.
  5. Save your changes by clicking Save.

The security zone is modified.

Changes are not applied to sessions established before the changes were made.
