Editing a virtual routing and forwarding table

You can edit a virtual routing and forwarding table in a network template or on a Kaspersky NGFW device: A virtual routing and forwarding table edited in a template is automatically modified on all devices that use this template. You cannot edit a virtual routing and forwarding table that is inherited from a template on a device.

To edit a virtual routing and forwarding table:

  1. In the main menu of the Open Single Management Platform Console, go to the Application & Services → NGFW section.
  2. Edit a virtual routing and forwarding table in one of the following ways:
    • If you want to edit a virtual routing and forwarding table in a network template, in the menu, select the Network templates tab, click the device template, and select the Routing → VRF section.
    • If you want to edit a virtual routing and forwarding table on a Kaspersky NGFW device, select the Devices tab in the menu, click a Kaspersky NGFW device and select the Routing → VRF section.

If the list of virtual routing tables on the device is inherited from a network template, you cannot modify these routing and forwarding tables in the device settings. In this case, editing virtual routing and forwarding tables (for example, adding or removing network interfaces) is possible only in the settings of the network template applied on the device.

A table of all virtual routing and forwarding tables is displayed.

  3. Do one of the following:
    • Click the name of the virtual routing and forwarding table.
    • Select the check box next to the virtual routing and forwarding table that you want to edit, and in the upper part of the workspace, click the Edit button.

This opens the virtual routing and forwarding table editing window.

  4. Make the necessary changes. For a description of the virtual routing and forwarding table settings, see Creating a virtual routing and forwarding table.

If you disable the Use blackhole route toggle switch, the blackhole route for this virtual routing and forwarding table is deleted in the Static routes section.

An interface to be added to a virtual routing and forwarding table must not be included in another virtual routing and forwarding table, be used in a static route, or have intersecting subnet IP addresses.

  5. Save your changes by clicking Save.
  6. Apply the OSMP policy changes by clicking the Commit and push button.

The virtual routing and forwarding table is modified.
