Limitations for interfaces included in an aggregated interface
The following limitations apply when adding interfaces to an aggregated interface:
Only physical interfaces can be included in an aggregated interface.
The roles of the aggregated interface and the interfaces included in it must match.
You cannot add interfaces to an aggregated interface if the interfaces are already included in another aggregated interface.
You cannot add interfaces that have subinterfaces to an aggregated interface.
You cannot add subinterfaces to an aggregated interface.
You cannot add interfaces that have been added to the L2 security zone to an aggregated interface.
You cannot add other aggregated interfaces to an aggregated interface.
You cannot add interfaces to an aggregated interface if the interfaces are already part of a bridge.
You cannot add BVI interfaces to an aggregated interface.
You can only add interfaces that have "None" as the protocol value.
You cannot add interfaces that act as DHCP relays to an aggregated interface.
You can add only interfaces that have the same speed setting mode as the aggregated interface.
You cannot add interfaces with different speeds.
If the first interface you add to the aggregated interface has automatic speed negotiation, all subsequent interfaces must have the same speed setting mode.
When an interface is added, its MTU becomes equal to the MTU of the aggregated interface.
