Route exchange over BGP

Kaspersky NGFW supports the BGP (Border Gateway Protocol) dynamic routing protocol for exchanging routing information between NGFW devices and external network devices. You can establish internal iBGP (internal BGP) sessions as well as external eBGP (external BGP) sessions.

Creation of individual BGP peers and BGP peer groups is also supported. Dynamic TCP sessions are established with BGP peer groups.

You can configure BGP and view diagnostic information about it in the OSMP Console or on the command line using the bgp family of commands. For a description of command families and a link to the complete list of Kaspersky NGFW configuration commands, see the Managing Kaspersky NGFW using the command line document.

This section describes how to manage BGP settings using the graphical interface.
