Editing a BGP peer group

You can edit a BGP peer group in a network template or on a device. A BGP peer group edited in a network template is automatically edited on all devices that use this template. You cannot edit a BGP peer group that is inherited from a network template on a device.

To edit a BGP peer group:

  1. In the main menu of the Open Single Management Platform Console, go to the Application & Services → NGFW section.
  2. Edit a BGP peer group in one of the following ways:
    • If you want to edit a BGP peer group in a network template, in the menu, select the Network templates tab, click the network template, and select the Routing → BGP section.
    • If you want to edit a BGP peer group on a device, select the Devices tab, click the device, select the Routing → BGP section, and enable the Override toggle switch.
  3. Open an existing BGP instance by selecting it in the table and clicking the Edit button in the upper part of the table, or create a new BGP instance.
  4. In the settings area of the BGP instance, select the Peer groups tab.

A table of BGP peer groups is displayed.

  5. In the table, select the BGP peer group that you want to edit and in the upper part of the table, click the Edit button.
  6. This opens a window; in that window, edit the BGP peer group settings that you want to change: For a description of the settings, see the instructions for creating a BGP peer group.
  7. Click Edit.

The BGP peer group is modified and updated in the table.

  8. In the lower part of the settings area, click Save to save the settings of the BGP instance.
