The maximum number of FQDNs in the table is 4096. When this limit is reached, a warning is displayed.
To create an FQDN:
In the main menu of the Open Single Management Platform Console, go to the Application & Services → NGFW section.
Select the Objects tab, then select FQDNs.
This opens the table of FQDNs.
In the upper part of the workspace, click Create.
In the Name field, enter a name for the new FQDN.
The name must be unique among all FQDNs.
The maximum length is 128 characters.
If necessary, in the Description field, enter an arbitrary description of the FQDN.
The maximum length is 256 characters.
In the VRF field, enter the name of the virtual routing and forwarding table created on the device or in the network template.
Select a DNS server for resolving domain names for this FQDN object:
Use global list. In this case, DNS servers from the system list are used. The list of DNS servers must be configured in advance in the settings of interfaces with the dedicated management port role.
Custom. If you select this option, specify the IPv4 address of the DNS server that you want to use. If the specified server is unavailable, DNS servers from the global list are not used as fallback.
In the field in the lower part of the workspace, click Add and enter the fully qualified domain name.
If you want to remove a domain name, select the check box next to the domain name and click Delete.
The maximum number of records within an FQDN object is 32.
