In the main menu of the Open Single Management Platform Console, go to the Application & Services → NGFW section.
Add an NTP server or pool in one of the following ways:
If you want to add an NTP server or pool in a network template, in the menu, select the Network templates tab, click the network template, and select the NTP section.
If you want to create an NTP server or pool on a device, select the Devices tab in the menu, click a device, and select the NTP section.
The table of all added NTP servers is displayed.
In the upper workspace, click Create.
This opens the NTP server adding window.
Enter the domain name or IP address of the NTP server or server pool that you want to add. The domain name or IP address must be unique among all NTP servers.
Select the type: Pool or Server.
If you want the device to prefer this pool or server for synchronization, enable the Preferred toggle switch. If you have configured multiple preferred servers or pools, the final choice is made in accordance with the internal algorithms of the NTP protocol.
If you want to enable authentication of messages from this server or pool, enable the Authentication toggle switch. Authentication is performed using symmetric keys.
After that, follow these steps:
Enter the authentication key. The authentication key must satisfy the following requirements:
From 6 to 16 characters without spaces.
Only Latin lowercase and uppercase letters, numerals, and the following characters are allowed: ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) - + = : ; { } [ ]
Enter the authentication key number. The authentication key number must fall in the range between 1 and 65535. The key numbers must be unique among all added NTP servers.
Select the encryption method: MD5, SHA1, or SHA256.
Click Create to save changes and create an NTP server or pool.
