You can enable or disable the BFD protocol in a network template or on a NGFW device. BFD protocol enabled or disabled in a network template is automatically enabled or disabled on all NGFW devices that use this network template.
To enable or disable the BFD protocol:
In the main menu of the Open Single Management Platform Console, go to the Application & Services → NGFW section.
Go to the BFD section of settings in one of the following ways:
If you want to enable the BFD protocol in a network template, in the menu, select the Network templates tab, click the network template, and select the Routing → BFD section.
If you want to enable the BFD protocol on a device, select the Devices tab, click the device, select the Routing → BFD section, and enable the Override toggle switch.
A table of BFD peers is displayed.
Enable the Status toggle switch. This toggle switch is disabled by default.
In the lower part of the settings area, click Save.
