Deleting a BFD peer

You can delete a BFD peer in a network template or on an NGFW device: A BFD peer deleted in a network template is automatically deleted on all NGFW devices that use this network template.

Deleted BFD peers cannot be restored.

To delete a BFD peer:

  1. In the main menu of the Open Single Management Platform Console, go to the Application & Services → NGFW section.
  2. Go to the BFD section of settings in one of the following ways:
    • If you want to delete a BFD peer in a network template, in the menu, select the Network templates tab, click the network template, and select the Routing → BFD section.
    • If you want to delete a BFD peer on a device, select the Devices tab, click the device, select the Routing → BFD section, and enable the Override toggle switch.

    A table of BFD peers is displayed.

  3. In the table, select the BFD peers that you want to delete and click the Delete button.
  4. In the displayed window, click Delete.

    The BFD peer is deleted and is no longer displayed in the table.

  5. In the lower part of the settings area, click Save.
