Deleting an OSPF interface

You can delete an OSPF interface in a network template or on an NGFW device: An OSPF interface deleted in a network template is automatically deleted on all NGFW devices that use this network template.

Deleted interfaces cannot be restored.

To delete an OSPF interface:

  1. In the main menu of the Open Single Management Platform Console, go to the Application & Services → NGFW section.
  2. Go to the OSPF section of settings in one of the following ways:
    • If you want to delete an OSPF interface in a network template, open the Network templates menu tab, click a network template, select the Routing → OSPF section, then select the Interfaces tab.
    • If you want to delete an OSPF interface on a device, select the Devices tab, click the device, select the Routing → OSPF section, then select the Interfaces tab and enable the Override toggle switch.

    A table of OSPF interfaces is displayed.

  3. In the table, select the OSPF interfaces that you want to delete and click the Delete button.
  4. In the confirmation window, click Delete.

    The OSPF interfaces are deleted and no longer displayed in the table.

  5. In the lower part of the settings area, click Save.
