The user work status shows whether or not you can assign alerts and incidents to the user.
Users may have one of the following statuses:
By default, when a user signs in to OSMP Console or to KUMA Console, the user work status automatically updates to Available.
You can manually change your work status or the work status for the currently signed-in users.
Changing the work status for your own account
Your current work status is displayed in the main menu next to your account name as a green dot () if the status is Available, or as a red dot (
) if the status is Busy.
If you want to change your current work status, go to your account settings, and then select the status to be assigned to your account.
Changing the work status for an internal user account
The Work status field is displayed in the user settings window only if the user is currently signed in to OSMP Console or to KUMA Console.
To change the work status for an internal user, you must have one of the following XDR roles: Main administrator, Tenant administrator, SOC administrator.
To change the work status of an internal user:
A user list opens.
The user settings window opens with the General tab selected.
The window is closed, and the work status of the user is changed.
