Before restoring data, ensure that you use the same version of Kaspersky Next XDR Expert in which the backup was created.
Backing up and restoring Kaspersky Next XDR Expert data is supported only if the DBMS is not included in the Kubernetes cluster. Configuration where the DBMS is installed into the Kubernetes cluster is used only to get acquainted with the solution, not to solve standard work tasks.
To restore the Kaspersky Next XDR Expert data from the backup copy,
On the administrator host, run the following command:
./kdt invoke backup-operator -a restoreFromBackup --param backup_id='<backup_id>'
where <backup_id> is the unique backup identifier that is displayed in the BACKUPID column in the list of the created backups.
Kaspersky Next XDR Expert data is restored from the backup. KDT outputs information about the success or failure of the restore operation in KDT logs.
