Install and upgrade the application in silent mode

You can install and upgrade Kaspersky Anti-Ransomware Tool for Business in silent mode from the command prompt. Before installing or upgrading the application, open and carefully read the Terms and conditions.

To install or upgrade Kaspersky Anti-Ransomware Tool for Business in silent mode:

  1. Open the email you received to download Kaspersky Anti-Ransomware Tool for Business and click the Terms and conditions link.

    Document with the End User License Agreement, the Privacy Policy and the Supplemental statement will be download to your computer.

  2. Open this document and carefully read terms and conditions of the application's usage.
    • If you agree with the terms of these statements, start the installation in silent mode.
    • If you do not agree to the terms of these statements, do not install and use installation of Kaspersky Anti-Ransomware Tool for Business.
  3. Start the command prompt.
  4. Enter <full path to the installation file on your computer> msiexec /i anti_ransom_installer.msi /quiet AGREETOEULA=1 AGREETO_SUPPLEMENTAL_STATEMENT=1 AGREETOPRIVACYPOLICY=1 <settings>[=<value>]

    The parameters have the following meanings:

    • /quiet – enable silent mode.
    • /i – start installation of the application.
    • AGREETOEULA=1 – accept the terms of the End User License Agreement. If you do not enter this parameter, Kaspersky Anti-Ransomware Tool for Business will not be installed.
    • AGREETO_SUPPLEMENTAL_STATEMENT=1 – accept the terms of the Supplemental statement on data processing. If you do not enter this parameter, Kaspersky Anti-Ransomware Tool for Business will not be installed.
    • AGREETOPRIVACYPOLICY=1 – accept the terms of the Privacy Policy. If you do not enter this parameter, Kaspersky Anti-Ransomware Tool for Business will not be installed.
    • <settings> – specify additional settings.
  5. Wait for the installation or upgrade to complete.

After the installation is completed, the Kaspersky Anti-Ransomware Tool for Business icon appears on your desktop. If you update the application, restart the computer to finish upgrading.

Kaspersky Lab does not guarantee correct installation and uninstallation of the application in silent mode with commands except /quiet, /i and /uninstall.
