You can upgrade the application using the Setup Wizard. During upgrade Setup Wizard uninstall previous version on Kaspersky Anti-Ransomware Tool for Business and install new version of the application. No settings from the previous version of Kaspersky Anti-Ransomware Tool for Business will remain to the new version.
Upgrade is available only from the version 2.0 of the application.
To upgrade Kaspersky Anti-Ransomware Tool for Business on your computer:
Open the Kaspersky Anti-Ransomware Tool for Business setup file.
The Kaspersky Anti-Ransomware Tool for Business Setup Wizard opens.
In the window that opens, read the End User License Agreement, the Privacy Policy and the Supplemental statement on data processing do one of the following:
If you agree with the terms of these statements, confirm that by selecting the appropriate check boxes.
If you do not agree to the terms of these statements, cancel the installation of Kaspersky Anti-Ransomware Tool for Business and do not use the application.
In the window that opens, select a user of the application:
If you select User or Administrator, installation continues automatically.
If you select User (with email reports), specify email address and SMTP server connection parameters.
Wait for the installation of Kaspersky Anti-Ransomware Tool for Business to complete.
The application prompts you to restart the computer during the upgrade process.
Click Restart now to finish the upgrade.
After you restart the computer, Kaspersky Anti-Ransomware Tool for Business will be successfully upgraded on your computer.
