A local update of Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum 3.0 consists of the following steps:
Update Kaspersky Security Center Windows to version 14.2 or Kaspersky Security Center Linux to version 15.1, including the Network Agent components on user computers and Kaspersky Security Center Web Console on Windows or Linux.
Install Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows 12.7, Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Mac 12.1, or Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Linux 12.1 web plug-in.

For information on installing the web plug-in, refer to the Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows Help, Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Mac Help, or Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Linux Help.
Skip this step if you are updating Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum from version 2.0, 2.1, 2.2, or 2.3.
Start the Policy and Task Migration Wizard and go through all the steps in the wizard.
Update EPP applications to a version that supports Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum 3.0 functionality on the devices you want to protect.
