The mechanism in Kaspersky Endpoint Security 10 for Windows that provides protection against external management of the system blocks attempts to control the application from a remote host. By default, external management is disabled. You can enable it if necessary.

To enable or disable external management:

  1. Open Kaspersky Endpoint Security 10 for Windows.
  2. Go to the Settings tab and select Advanced Settings.
  3. Enable or disable external management:
    • To enable external management, clear the Disable external management of the system service checkbox.
    • To disable external management, select the Disable external management of the system service checkbox.
  4. Click Save.
