Exclusion scopes window

The window contains monitoring exclusion scopes for the System Integrity Monitoring component. The application does not scan files and directories located at the paths specified in the table.

Merge inherited values

This check box enables or disables the merging of the list of exclusions when inherited in child policies.

If the check box is selected, items in the list of the parent policy are displayed in child policies, and items can be added to the list of the child policy.

If the check box is cleared, the list items are not merged when inheriting policy settings.

This check box is cleared by default.

Exclusion scope name

Exclusion scope name.

Path

Path to the directory excluded from monitoring.

Status

Indicates whether the application excludes this scope from monitoring during the component operation.

By default, the table of exclusion scopes is empty. You can add, edit, and delete items in the table.

You can also import the list of exclusion scopes from a file by clicking Import or export the list of exclusion scopes to a file in JSON format by clicking Export. When importing, you are prompted to replace the list of exclusion scopes or add exclusion scopes to the existing list.
